Appointment: Penson names head of clearing ops

Penson Worldwide has appointednamed Tyrone Conybear as director of operations for Penson Financial Services, its London-based clearing, settlement and execution services subsidiary.

Conybear  has been  Head of Investment Operations of Butterfield Private Bank. He has has more than 24 years experience in buy and sell side clearing and settlement, having also held senior operational roles at Indosuez WI Carr and Williams de Broë.

Clive Triance, chief executive of PFSL, said, "We are pleased to welcome Tyrone's experience and knowledge of the industry to lead our operations team.  We're excited about the opportunities this role will bring."
