Appointments: CJC picks Peter Williams to lead further growth

CJC, the market data consultancy, has appointed Peter Williams as director of operations for EMEA. This is a new position, created following CJC's business and headcount increase of 25% over the last 12 months. Williams has been with CJC for four years, as a market data consultant.

Williams will be responsible for the operational management of the 40-strong EMEA team, which consists of market data engineers, consultants and project managers. He will be reinforcing CJC's EMEA growth strategy, through the management of standards, processes, training and development, and overall account management. Williams has twelve years of experience in market data, and has previously worked in-house in broking and investment banking environments, including BNP Paribas and Credit Suisse.

Based in the London office, he will be reporting directly to the company directors: Paul Gow, David Renton and Paul Tomblin. Williams will be mirroring the position of Steve Moreton, who was announced as director of operations for APAC in March.
