SunGard has appointed Chris Clark as European senior vice president for its Astec Analytics business unit, which specialises in providing market information systems for the global securities financing industry. In his new role, Clark will be responsible for representing Astec Analytics in EMEA, servicing current customers, expanding the customer base and tying up with other SunGard technology.

Clark joins SunGard with more than two decades of securities finance experience. Prior to SunGard, he has worked for DLJ, Credit Suisse and ABN Amro in equity finance trading and senior client relationship roles, and was a founding member of London Global Securities. More recently, he has worked on independent consultancy projects advising on and teaching the fundamentals and complicated equity financing structures to the professional community. He is FSA registered.
