Monitise has added Neil Sentance to its business development team.
Sentance, 35, has previously worked at Symbian, where he was vice president sales, and at Cable & Wireless. He will report to Monitise's chief wireless officer, Pertti Johansson, and focus on building relations with global mobile network operators, handset manufacturers and software developers.
A major part of his role will be extending Monitise's support for the new generation of smartphones, including Apple's iPhone, Blackberry, Symbian and Google's Android platform.
Sentance's title will be vice president new business and he will be based at Monitise's London headquarters. He will also provide sales and business development support to its regional teams.
