Appointment: New head at Oliver Wyman IT & Ops practice

Paul Mee has been promoted to lead the Strategic IT & Operations practice at financial services-led management consultancy Oliver Wyman across EMEA. He was previously a partner at the firm, specialising in strategic IT, operations and transformation in the UK.

He joined Oliver Wyman four years ago from Booz & Co, prior to which he held an IT divisional management role at First Direct, part of the HSBC Group.

His career spans 18 years of consulting in the financial services sector, specifically covering consumer finance, retail banking and direct banking, across IT Strategy, Operations and Transformation. His recent successes include driving the firm's 'Cost Crunch' offering and shaping its 'CIO Risk Agenda' insight.
