NDC and MICEX finish first DVP transaction through Euroclear

 

The National Depository Center and the MICEX Settlement House have settled the first delivery versus payment transaction in foreign currency through their accounts with Euroclear Bank. The first client to use the new service was Russ-Bank.

NDC is responsible for the securities record and MICEX SН controls the funds transfer. At the current stage settlements are performed in foreign currency for transactions with Eurobonds and depository receipts.
