Chi-X Europe has implemented Thomson Reuters' pan-European low latency direct feed, pricing and reference data service, offered through the firm's strategic hosting centres in London.
Thomson Reuters low latency direct feeds are now available to customers who wish to co-locate their trading applications within fully managed hosting facilities or last mile communications to a customer's own data centres. Each hosting site is placed in close proximity to trading venues and globally available in Chicago, New York, London, Frankfurt, Singapore and Tokyo.
Customers are offered a choice of low latency telecommunications providers for last mile connectivity as well as simplified access to a broad portfolio of additional value added services including market and broker connectivity, pricing and reference data, quant and event driven trading solutions and fully managed services.
Florian Miciu, chief technology officer, Chi-X Europe, stated: "Having the broadest access to the market is critical to the participants of Chi-X Europe. Thomson Reuters was able to quickly implement the hosting solution, which provides the breadth and performance to clients in addition to delivering cost savings. We are pleased to work with a recognized low latency provider like Thomson Reuters to meet this need."
