MasterCard, First Data Enhance Card Controls for Asia-Pacific Customers (Aug. 12, 2014)
MasterCard and First Data Corp. today announced a partnership to extend MasterCard’s inControl product for managing card spending to First Data’s customers in Asia Pacific, to enhance their growing use of payments cards for e-commerce purchases. inControl is a secure payments platform enabling corporates and consumers to control spending by setting limits on their accounts, with versatile tools to manage how, when and where cards are used for online purchases. inControl also reduces online card fraud by generating dynamic virtual card numbers for each purchase, and notifying users of each card transaction with real-time alerts.
First Data will integrate inControl into its FirstVision platform, powered by VisionPLUS, for its banking clients and other customers in the region, First Data said. First Data handles more than 100 million cards for leading banks in the Asia Pacific region, and its VisionPLUS platform covers a wide range of credit, commercial, debit and prepaid products, the company said.
