Corvil’s virtual Cara cares for cybersecurity scares
Powered by machine learning algorithms, Cara works in tandem with Corvil’s existing analytics appliances and it autonomously identifies vulnerabilities and possible attacks within trading environments. It then runs multi-dimensional security analytics that detects patterns of compromise, and pinpoints the most important issues for investigation.
Corvil CEO, Donal Byrne, says it knows “data exfiltration, data privacy and mitigation of ransomware attacks remain a top priority for CISOs [chief information security officers] and C-level executives” and Cara can “significantly bolster these businesses’ security posture”.
The company says Cara also offers a daily cybersecurity intelligence report that includes a cyber risk assessment score for C-level executives and outlines the insights required by CISOs and security teams for forensic investigation and response.
Cara will be generally available from 30 June, while existing customers of Corvil trading analytics can access the solution from the Corvil customer portal.
