Prospera CU is Open Anywhere to omnichannel onboarding
Prospera CU, a 63,000-member credit union in British Columbia, Canada, has launched Open Anywhere, a real-time application processing across all of its digital and physical channels.
Margarita Lurye, senior product manager at Central 1, describes the launch as “an important milestone” – “the first launch of a true end-to-end omnichannel onboarding experience from Central 1”.
Open Anywhere was introduced in 2015 and has around ten takers, but Prospera CU is the first one to launch the solution with branch integration.
“Applications in progress can be picked up by credit union staff in the branch, while completed applications are opened in minutes right on the Wealthview banking system [provided by Fiserv],” Lurye explains.
The latest version of Open Anywhere, implemented by Prospera CU, includes full core banking system integration, digital signature capture, real-time account funding via Interac e-Transfer, integration with TransUnion’s Enhanced Bureau Verification Service ID and Authentication products and the latest regulatory updates.
Central 1 provides wholesale financial products, trust services, payment processing solutions and digital banking services to around 300 credit unions and institutional clients in Canada. It is also the primary liquidity manager, payments provider and trade association for its 113 member credit unions in British Columbia and Ontario.
